Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

At Huurpour, we want you to shop with confidence. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing from Huurpour.store, including your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

If you are a consumer purchasing goods from Huurpour online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your contract without giving a reason.

You have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to inform us that you wish to cancel your order.

If an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period begins on the day after you receive the final item.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.

You may contact us at:

Email: help@Huurpour.store
Website: Huurpour.store

You may also use the Model Cancellation Form provided at the end of this policy, although using the form is not compulsory.

2. Returning Goods After Cancellation

After informing us that you wish to cancel your order, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days.

Please contact help@Huurpour.store before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return instructions and return address.

The item should be returned with all parts, accessories and packaging supplied with it where reasonably possible.

Your statutory right to cancel is not dependent on the item remaining completely unopened. You are permitted to inspect and handle an item to the extent that you could reasonably do so in a physical shop.

However, if you handle an item more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value caused by that handling.

3. Change-of-Mind Return Costs

Where you exercise your statutory cancellation right because you have changed your mind, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided we informed you of this obligation before you entered into the contract.

We recommend using an appropriate and reliable return service.

This section does not apply where the goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, incorrect, or otherwise do not conform to the contract. Where the goods do not conform to the contract and you are entitled to reject them under UK consumer law, Huurpour will bear reasonable return costs.

4. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

Where you validly cancel an online order, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with UK consumer law.

For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until we have either:

received the goods back; or

received evidence from you that the goods have been sent back,

whichever happens first.

Once the relevant condition has been met, the refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days afterward.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method.

We will not charge you a fee for receiving a refund.

5. Original Delivery Charges

When you exercise your statutory right to cancel the entire order, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by Huurpour, where you originally paid a delivery charge.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express or premium delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount paid above the cost of our standard delivery option.

Where standard delivery was provided free of charge, there is no original delivery charge to refund.

6. Partial Order Returns

If you cancel and return only part of an order containing multiple products, any refund of the original delivery charge will depend on whether the delivery charge would have been the same had you ordered only the products that you keep.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

All goods sold by Huurpour must comply with the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Goods must be:

of satisfactory quality;

fit for any particular purpose made known to us where applicable; and

as described.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us at help@Huurpour.store.

Please provide your order details and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the problem more quickly, but requiring photographs will not remove or restrict your statutory rights.

8. 30-Day Short-Term Right to Reject Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract.

Where this right applies and is exercised within the relevant period, you may be entitled to reject the goods and receive a refund.

The 30-day period generally begins after ownership or possession has passed to you, the goods have been delivered, and any required installation or other relevant steps have been completed.

This statutory 30-day right for faulty or non-conforming goods is separate from the 14-day cancellation right that generally applies to distance purchases.

9. Repair or Replacement

If the short-term right to reject has expired, or if you choose not to exercise it, you may have the right to request a repair or replacement where goods do not conform to the contract.

Any repair or replacement required by law will be carried out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.

Huurpour will bear the necessary costs of an applicable repair or replacement, including reasonable postage, labour and material costs.

A particular remedy may not be available where it is impossible or disproportionate compared with the alternative remedy permitted by law.

10. Price Reduction or Final Right to Reject

Where a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, unavailable, impossible, disproportionate, or is not completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may have the right to:

receive an appropriate price reduction; or

exercise the final right to reject the goods,

where the applicable conditions under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are satisfied.

Where the final right to reject is exercised within the first six months, UK law generally prevents a deduction for use, subject to statutory exceptions.

11. Refunds for Faulty Goods

Where you are legally entitled to a refund for faulty or non-conforming goods, the refund will be provided without undue delay and, where required by law, no later than 14 days from the day Huurpour agrees that you are entitled to the refund.

The refund will normally be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

No refund fee will be charged.

Where you validly reject faulty goods, Huurpour will bear reasonable return costs as required by law.

12. Items Excluded From the Statutory Change-of-Mind Cancellation Right

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory 14-day cancellation right where an exemption under UK law applies.

This may include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you.

It may also include sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.

Other statutory exemptions may apply depending on the nature of the product.

An exemption from the change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Hygiene-Sealed Products

Where a product is supplied with a genuine hygiene or health-protection seal and is legally considered unsuitable for return once that seal has been broken, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may cease once the seal has been removed.

This exception will only be applied where permitted by law.

Your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed products remain unaffected.

14. Personalised or Made-to-Order Products

Products that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised may not be eligible for cancellation under the statutory change-of-mind rules.

However, if a personalised or made-to-order product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to conform to the contract, your statutory consumer rights will continue to apply.

15. Sale and Promotional Items

Your statutory consumer rights also apply to products purchased during a sale or promotion.

A reduced price does not remove your right to remedies where an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Where an item was specifically discounted because of a defect that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase, you cannot normally rely on that disclosed defect as the basis of a claim.

16. Gifts

Where an item was purchased as a gift, statutory rights generally arise under the contract between Huurpour and the original purchaser.

We may request reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return, exchange or refund.

Any refund will normally be returned to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed.

17. Exchanges

Where available, exchanges may be offered at our discretion for change-of-mind returns.

Your statutory rights to cancel, reject faulty goods, request a repair or replacement, receive a price reduction or obtain a refund are not dependent on accepting an exchange.

If an exchange is unavailable, any applicable statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

18. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable evidence of purchase when processing a return or refund.

This may include an order confirmation, order number, receipt, payment record or other evidence showing that the item was purchased from Huurpour.

A particular type of receipt will not be required where other reasonable evidence of purchase is available.

19. Refund Processing by Banks and Payment Providers

After Huurpour issues a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to credit the funds to your account.

Any such processing time is controlled by the relevant financial institution and is separate from the time within which Huurpour must issue the refund.

20. Orders Lost or Damaged in Delivery

The risk in goods generally remains with the trader until the goods come into the physical possession of you, or a person identified by you to take possession of them, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or does not arrive, please contact help@Huurpour.store so that we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law.

21. Refusing Delivery

Simply refusing or failing to collect a parcel may not, by itself, clearly communicate your decision to exercise your statutory right to cancel.

Where you wish to cancel an order, you should also clearly inform Huurpour of your decision by contacting help@Huurpour.store.

22. Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at help@Huurpour.store.

If cancellation can be processed before dispatch, we will cancel the order and issue any applicable refund.

If the order has already entered the dispatch process, you may still exercise any statutory cancellation rights available to you after receiving the goods.

23. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights provided to consumers by UK law.

Where any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer right, the statutory right will prevail.

The principal legislation relevant to this policy includes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as amended from time to time.
